1. Legacy Payroll Replacement

Caerphilly County Borough Council (CCBC) were migrating their payroll from OpenDoors to an integrated HR system using Midland Trent. They were unable to import their historic payroll data to Midland Trent because the historic staff heirarchy was not available.

After a free initial consultation, Milldata was contracted to supply their purpose-built OpenView software to provide a read-only viewport onto the historic payroll data.

The installation was to be carried out at a fixed fee, with the addition of a training session for CCBC staff. There was to be no licence fee or annual maintenance fee.

CCBC migrated their historic payroll data in-house to a SQL Server database, and OpenView was supplied by Milldata as a Microsoft Access front end.

Milldata installed the software ahead of schedule and the training was a great success. Staff commented on how easy OpenView was to operate, and how intuitive it was to use.
